OUR STORY

We didn’t just come to play, we came to shake up the card game.
What started out as Anoela Cards (shoutout to our founder Leo) quickly turned into a tag-team takeover when her bestie turned co-founder, Ify, jumped on board. Why? Because the Nigerian market was crying out for cards that actually look like us, laugh like us, love like us. Black joy. Black love. Black culture. All wrapped up in QUALITY paper with lots of attitude.
And guess what? People went wild. From Lagos to London, Brooklyn to Brisbane, our cards became a cultural mic drop, bold, unapologetic, and dripping with personality. We even landed publishing deals with the likes of Moonpig, Greetz and Scribbler, because apparently the world was just as ready for us as we were for it.
Fast forward and here we are as Rich Girl Paper: bigger, badder, and bolder. We’re talking bold cards, big energy, the kind that make people laugh, blush, cry, or call their mum immediately. Basically, if it doesn’t make you feel something, it’s not one of ours.
So, whether you’re celebrating, commiserating, or just stirring the pot a little, we’ve got the card for it. And most importantly? We wouldn’t be who we are without our incredible community of thoughtful greeting card lovers; the ones who’ve cheered us on, stocked their shelves, and kept this paper party rolling worldwide!
